I've instituted numerous improvements across Grand County's operations, making it easier for residents to access services and for County Departments to efficiently and effectively do their job.

I'm very proud of developing a highly detailed budget process which includes leading over 10 public and recorded hearings to review every department budget across the County, and a final budget document with exhaustive line-to-line detail, so that residents can best understand their County budget.  This isn't the budget process that I inherited.

I've overseen 4 external audit processes, with zero qualified opinions attached, that's 4 clean audits

I've developed and maintained important relationships across the State with the people that really matter; my personal relationships with leaders at the Utah State Tax Commission, Lt. Governor's Office, Utah Association of Counties, and State Auditor's Office allow me to keep Grand County in compliance and apprised of the best practices that residents deserve.
